String::Multibyte::Grapheme is used for graphemewise manipulation of strings in Perl's internal format for Unicode (see perlunicode).
String::Multibyte::Grapheme
This module requires Perl 5.8.0 or later.
Grapheme ranges (no, no longer character ranges) are not supported.
This module is based on default grapheme clusters according to Unicode Standard Annex #29 for Unicode 4.0.0 (UAX #29-4), which is similar to legacy grapheme clusters of Unicode 5.1.0 (UAX #29-13) or later.
