syslogscand - daemon to watch log files
syslogscand [ -c file ] [ -f ] { start | stop | reload | restart | help | version | check }
Syslogscand is a wapper for SyslogScan::Daemon. It watches log files. Which log files it watches and what it does is defined by the plugins that are configured in its configuration file.
The configuration file
The process ID file -- also use to make sure there is only one syslogscand running.
SyslogScan::Daemon
To install SyslogScan::Daemon, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.
cpanm
cpanm SyslogScan::Daemon
CPAN shell
perl -MCPAN -e shell install SyslogScan::Daemon
